Migration Plan: 1800 MHz Band to 1900 MHz Band Allocated to Cellular Mobile Services for the Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT)

Draft Policy on Consumer Rights and Obligations

DRAFT NATIONAL BROADCASTING CODE FOR THE REPUBLIC OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO

The development and promulgation of a Broadcasting Code are prescribed in Section 79 of Telecommunications Act No 4 of 2001.

Accordingly, the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago has prepared the following draft document for the development of a National Broadcasting Code for the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, with the participation of the national community.

This document is immediately available on the website of the Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobagowww.tatt.org.tt and at its offices, Ben Court, 76 Boundary Road, San Juan.\In Tobago the draft code can also be obtained at the Management Services Unit, Office of the Chief Secretary, Calder Hall Administrative Complex, Calder Hall Tobago. The telephone number at this location is 639-5552.

The Authority will hold consultations throughout Trinidad and Tobago to facilitate inputs from the general public. Stakeholders and other interested person will be invited, and encouraged to air their views on various issues outlined in the document. Consultation dates and venues as well as registration details will be published in a subsequent advertisement. The Authority will also welcome written comments on the draft code. These comments should be submitted at the above locations.
